Neuro Linguistic Programming
NLP is a process through which old behavioural patterns and thought processes can be changed and new behaviour can be learned. Essentially, it is a manual for the brain which will help you to achieve consistent specific and desired outcomes.
NLP explores the relationship between how we think (neuro), how we communicate both verbally and non-verbally (linguistic) and our behaviour patterns (programming).
It was developed in the early 1970’s by John Grinder and Richard Bandler as a way to study excellence. They wanted to understand how people who are excellent at what they do, actually do that. They believed they could model those people and teach that model to others in order to get the same results.
Through the use of NLP I can help you to develop more choices; to choose your emotional and physical states by helping you to understand how your thoughts and feelings can affect your behaviour. When you change the way you think and feel about yourself you will change the way you portray yourself to others and this will change the way others perceive you.
